From the thrill of unexpected romance to a heart breaking reconciliation that comes too late – Verdi’s La Traviata is one of the most popular of all operas.  Alfredo falls in love in with the courtesan Violetta in glamorous Paris society, but underneath the surface run darker undercurrents, leading to a tragic ending. The opera’s fantastic melodies include the famous Brindisi and the exuberant ‘Sempre libera’ – both showing the lyricism of Italian opera at its most immediately appealing.

Returning to Wiltons after their sell-out Bob Dylan show, Dead Poets Live presents Edward Thomas and Robert Frost, the tragic story of a beautiful friendship, with Toby Jones in the role of Frost. It took Robert Frost – and a summer of walks in Gloucestershire in 1914 – to talk Edward Thomas into writing poems. Until that summer, Thomas had been a Grub Street familiar, living by the pen; Frost was an obscure American with a new theory of versification.

Come and experience an exciting line-up of talented young singers and musicians, as they take to the stage at this year's Water City Music at the Tower 2019 festival.  The annual festival welcomes primary and secondary pupils from across London to perform music across three stages within the walls of the magnificent Tower of London. All of the students' performances are connected to the Tower's rich history as a prison, fortress and palace. This year, over 1,800 children will be performing from 66 different schools.
